Symphony met Kym in our mom's belly in ‘89. And since birth we have been inseparable. Symphony has been Kymberlee’s built-in best friend for over 30 years. Symphony consistently inspires me to take risks & walk out on faith, like moving to Texas!
Symphony is a coffee connoisseur and an unapologetic bandwagon Texas fan. I can’t imagine my special day without her standing by my side - just like she did in my mom's belly! At the wedding, you’ll find her tearing up the dance floor & taking Instagram photos for anywho asks. (Seriously, you can trust she’ll capture your best angles and still catch that beat!).
The best memories she has of the couple are all the third-wheel dates that she attended with the couple and how she never had the feeling of being the third wheel. And honestly made Rich feel like he was a guest at their sister date.
Nazadeen is a Boston native who currently works at UNT Dallas as the Director of Upward Bound, a college access program for low-income and first-generation students.
Kym and I met in 1997 when our mom brought me home instead of the puppy Kym asked for. Although a younger sister isn’t what she wanted, Kym made it work.
Kym and Rich are solid pillars in my life. I know that no matter where I’m at or what I’m experiencing, they’ll both be in my corner. Rich is truly the big brother I never had. Kym’s cool too, I guess. I love you both and I’m excited to see where this next chapter of life takes you!
Jasmin is originally from Boston, MA but she currently resides in Texas. She is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte based out of the Houston office, where she resides with her husband and 2 beautiful kids that she loves more than anything in this world.
Kym and I met back in 2013 when we joined the Iota Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. We became line sisters and she’s been one of my favorite people since. Kym played a major role in introducing me to my now husband and was also part of our wedding!
We’ve had a lot of great times over the past 9 years but some of my favorite memories with Kym and Rich are of fun weekends in New York going to brunch in Brooklyn and bringing in the new year in Manhattan. No matter the occasion, Kym and Rich radiate good energy that is contagious. I cannot be more excited to celebrate with them as they embark on this next chapter.
Jae’da is a Boston native and a small business development and consulting entrepreneur. She currently resides in Boston and is the owner of Black Owned Bos in Boston.
Jae’da met Kym during their time at Northeastern University. They were both on the board of the black student association. They were friendly but not friends haha... Little did they know they would soon be bonded for life as sisters during the fall of 2013 through the Iota Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Jae’da and Kym were the last two of their line sisters to remain in Boston before Kym headed south to start the next phase of her life with her future hubby Rich in Dallas!
Jordane is originally from Massachusetts but lives in Los Angeles, CA. She likes to think of herself as “The fun friend!” She’s a true foodie, sports fanatic, and explorer. Her fifth-grade teacher even once referred to her as “the whole package”- however, she’s still very humble.
Jordane and Kym met at Northeastern University, and later on became sisters 4Life through their bond with the Iota Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her favorite thing about Kym and Rich is their commitment to showing up- whether it’s graduations, events, or trips- there is always a new memory to be made with their infectious energy.
Kymberlee and Jessica were both students at Northeastern University around the same time. Though she can’t pinpoint when they became friends, Jessica says “it feels like forever ago.” Her favorite memory of Rich and Kym would be those made in Cuba for Jessica’s birthday in 2017. After entering the country illegally (kind of), they doggy paddled in the freezing cold ocean, watched friends fall off horses, and somehow completed a successful trip with no wifi.
Jessica is a South Bronx, NYC native that escapes life regularly by reading and traveling any and everywhere. She has a few passions but seeing and exuding beauty in style is in her top 2, and it’s not 2. She works as a registered nurse around the country and is currently stationed in her hometown, New York City. Catch her while you can.
Jessica cannot wait to see what the future holds for her favorite couple, whom she and many others champion “mom & dad.”
Arnelle is originally from Philly, PA. She currently resides there as a Medical Student at Drexel University College of Medicine. She met Kym her freshman year at Northeastern and she was OBSESSED with her and her all-black YSL bag she used to pull up to events in. Kym supposedly didn't pay Arnelle any mind though...to the point she's pretty sure whenever she came around, she walked away lol. Arnelle doesn't know how she did it, but Kym loves her now and that's all that matters.
Arnelle's favorite memory with Kym and Rich is at Diner en blanc in 2017. That's when they adopted her as one of their favorites. Big mom and dad vibes.
John is Richard’s older brother by exactly 13 months. Always present through each other’s most exciting and important life events since their formative years. From teaching him how to tie his laces, to learning how to ride a bike, countless hours of reviewing homework assignments, and getting ready for his first date with Kym from the Mission Hill Apartment in Boston. Love is a beautiful journey and John has had a front-row-seat to Richard and Kym’s love story. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun. It’s been a few years since they’ve lived in the same city. However, Richard remains John’s closest confidant. John and his wife Kanika now reside in Atlanta with their young daughter Samaya, who is doted on by Uncle Rich and Auntie Kym.
My fondest memories are times spent together strategizing and working on a masterplan: Two skinny Haitian teenagers arrive in Boston summer 2004 with NO dollars and a Dream; with a solid foundation and an unbreakable bond… 20 years later, one works in Private Wealth Management and the other is a Senior Consultant for a top consulting firm; I’d say we’re both living the dream everyday.
JB hails from the great city of Boston, MA and still lives there currently. JB continues to be a trusted advisor to various elected officials throughout the United States while maintaining an active and robust litigation portfolio.
I met Rich at Title Town USA, frequently known as Charlestown High School. Rich and I go way back, we competed alongside one another on the varsity football team, excelled academically together by taking a number of AP courses, we attended and graduated from UMass-Amherst located in Gods Country, and continue to be of service for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. I am looking forward to playing my part in continuing to help Rich and Kym's partnership succeed in every realm.
Originally from Springfield, MA, Cameron now lives and works in Maryland. In his spare time he enjoys watching and playing sports, traveling to new counties, and leading the winning team in Spades, Taboo, and/or Scattergories with friends and family.
How you know Rich and best memories
I met Rich in my first year at UMass. We were both interested and would eventually pledge Alpha Phi Alpha -Alpha Kappa Chapter together as line brothers. One of the best memories I have was after we graduated from UMASS and went back for blackout weekend. This weekend was perfectly aligned with Rich's birthday, and in the days before, Kym reached out to help set up a surprise brunch. After a weekend full of partying and fellowship, many of us assembled at Johnny's Tavern for the surprise. While waiting for Rich and Kym to arrive, about a dozen bros and close friends enjoyed conversation recapping the weekend. The topic of whether anyone had text/talked to Rich that morning to wish him a HBD came up, and we all said no, and laughed at the prospect of him thinking we had forgotten his b-day. After the surprise, we're all talking and someone asked Rich if he thought we forgot about him. Kym jumped in to share that Rich was being a grouch that morning and was trying to rush to get back to Boston. (Anybody who partied all weekend with their friends, just to wake up to their bday on Sunday to a dry phone would have a right to be.) We all started to burst out laughing again, picturing Rich being mad and trying to leave in a hurry.
Jashawn is originally from Brooklyn, NY and currently resides in Atlanta with his beautiful wife and gorgeous babies (Flower Ladies). Jashawn is also one of the best iPhone DJs we know and has moves like Jagger.

Jashawn is Rich’s line brother and the guy you’ll find at most weddings alongside From College Road trips to attending weddings and ending up with their ties tied around their heads. There’s not much this bromance hasn’t done together. My fondest memory of Richard and Kymberlee was at the onset of their relationship. Rich told me about Kym at a BBQ during the Summer of 2013 and how dope she is. So me acting as the good brother that I am; I pushed him to go talk to her and I'm glad it led to this moment. Since Kym stepped into Rich's life, Rich has made it his mission to always fight for the things Kym wants and do whatever needs to be done to put a smile on her face.
David is originally from North Carolina but currently resides in Detroit Michigan. David is a Mortgage Loan Officer and the best dancer in the groomsmen lineup. He will always be the one to start the party.
David met Rich at a party as an interest for the Mighty Alpha Kappa Killah Chapterrrrrr in 2008. Ever since then we have remained brothers through everything. David wishes the newlyweds eternal happiness, wealth and health.

I met Rich through his older brother John Albert. Me & John are both brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. through the Theta Zeta Chapter at Dartmouth College. My fondest memory of the couple was at their surprise proposal ceremony. Another key moment for me was when both Rich & Kym attended my probate at Dartmouth College in the Fall of 2014.
Quinton is currently a Financial Advisor at JP Morgan Private Bank in Houston,TX serving high net worth individuals, families, corporate executives, and business owners. A native of Atlanta,GA, and attended Morehouse. Quinton spent 4 years as a dual athlete in Football and Baseball, while also pledging Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and was initiated in Spring 2017.
How you know Rich and best memories
I met Rich through Kym who was a member of my team at Goldman Sachs. Kym and Rich are literally my big brother and sister. I have too many stories to count for both Kym and Rich. One memory that is very special to me was how they took me in during the ice storm in 2021. As a native of Atlanta I didn’t know anyone in Texas before moving to Dallas. When the ice storm happened my power went out for a week. I immediately called Kym and Rich, who opened up their home to me to stay as they were one of the only houses who did not lose power. But for them to open their home to me was beyond special to me. And this still means a great deal to me to this day.
Meet the Williams Sisters! They are products of their parents (Jashawn and Amirah Williams) they are phenomenal, curious, inquisitive, and hilarious little people. Ages 7 and 3, Sanaa and Zhuri love dancing, karate, singing, and having a plain ol good time. You can catch both of them down an aisle near you.
